Back on the Lecture Circuit

I am setting out on the lecture platform again this season, which is the only form of employment I know where a man is paid to talk and nobody is permitted to interrupt him.

The secret of a good lecture is the pause. You say the thing, and then you wait, and the waiting is where the laugh lives. I have practised my pauses more carefully than any sentence I ever wrote.

Dates and halls are listed on the events page once the managers stop arguing about them, which I estimate will be shortly after the next comet.
